2. Purpose and scope

This Legal Notice governs access to, browsing and use of the Website, as well as the responsibilities arising from its use. Access to the Website is free of charge and confers the status of user, which implies full acceptance of this Legal Notice.

3. Terms of use

The user agrees to make proper use of the Website and its contents, in accordance with the law, good faith and public order. In particular, the user agrees not to:

  • Use the Website for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes third-party rights.

Documents submitted by clients for translation remain the clients’ property. The owner acquires no rights over them and will use them exclusively to provide the contracted service.

5. Liability

Content. The information published on the Website is of a general and informative nature. The owner endeavours to keep it up to date but does not guarantee that it is free of errors or omissions, and may modify it without prior notice.

Availability. The owner is not liable for interruptions or failures in the operation of the Website caused by technical issues beyond her control.

Sworn translation and official status. Only documents signed and sealed by the owner in her capacity as Sworn Translator-Interpreter of English are considered sworn translations. All other translations and revisions are professional but not official. It is the client’s responsibility to check with the receiving authority the formal requirements of their procedure (legalisation, apostille, format, validity periods, etc.).

Results. The owner provides her services with the highest professional rigour, but does not guarantee the acceptance of a manuscript by a journal or the approval of a file by a regulatory authority, as these depend on third parties.

6. Links to third-party sites

The Website may contain links to third-party pages. The owner neither controls nor is responsible for their content or privacy policies. The inclusion of a link does not imply any relationship, endorsement or guarantee on the part of the owner.

Anyone wishing to link to the Website must link to its home page or to specific pages without misrepresenting or creating confusion about their origin, and without suggesting a relationship with the owner that does not exist.

7. Data protection and confidentiality
